BCB mourns the death of sports journalist Raju Ahmed Russel
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has expressed deep sorrow at the passing of sports journalist Raju Ahmed Russel. He breathed his last on Monday at the age of 41 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Russel had been a familiar face in the country’s sports journalism arena for more than a decade. During his career, he worked for Daily Destiny, JaiJai Din and Dainik Shomoyer Alo, covering numerous cricket events both at home and abroad.
The BCB has extended its heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family and relatives and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
