Special recognition for 32 captains Captains Card to offer a range of benefits

A remarkable initiative has been introduced to elevate the prestige of leadership in Bangladesh cricket. For the first time, the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has launched the “Captains Card” to honor both former and current national team captains, offering not only recognition but also lifelong exclusive benefits.

For the first time in the history of Bangladesh cricket, such a benefit-based card system has been introduced. Through the “Captains Card,” former and current captains will be entitled to a range of lifelong privileges.

Cardholders will be able to use it as a permanent pass for entry into stadiums for all ICC and ACC events, bilateral series, and Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) matches, among other cricketing events.

In addition to cricket-related privileges, special healthcare support has also been arranged for them. Under this card, all captains will receive lifelong health insurance coverage. In case of any illness, the BCB medical team will provide continuous assistance.

If necessary, the board will also coordinate all medical arrangements, including appointments with specialist doctors. Furthermore, cardholders will receive VIP parking facilities when attending stadiums.

The BCB stated that the primary objective of this initiative is to honor those who have led the national team at different times. The board has also indicated plans to further expand the scope of benefits associated with this card in the future.
