Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka T20I Series Begins Today; Bangladesh Batting First After Losing Toss

After losing both the Test and ODI series on this tour, Bangladesh will now look to bounce back as their three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka begins today.

The opening T20I is being played at the scenic Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy. The match is scheduled to start at 7:30 PM Bangladesh time. The second and third matches of the series will be held in Dambulla and Colombo respectively.

Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka won the toss and chose to field first, sending Bangladesh in to bat.

Bangladesh have made a couple of changes for the T20 format, bringing back opener Naim Sheikh and all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin into the playing XI.
