Captains List for the National Cricket League USA

In the inaugural edition of the Sixty Strikes Tournament organized by the National Cricket League (NCL) in the United States, Shakib Al Hasan will take the field as captain of the Los Angeles Waves. Among the five other team captains, three are Indian, while former stars Shahid Afridi and Angelo Mathews will also take on leadership roles.

The announcement of the six captains comes as the tournament prepares to kick off. Shakib will represent the Waves, while Sri Lankan all-rounder Angelo Mathews will lead the Atlanta Kings. Dinesh Karthik is set to captain the Dallas Lawn Stars, and Suresh Raina will take charge of the New York Lions. The Texas Gladiators will be under the guidance of the legendary Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi, and Robin Uthappa will captain the Chicago team.

The tournament will also feature renowned head coaches, including Sanath Jayasuriya (New York Lions), Mickey Arthur (Los Angeles Waves), Blair Fanklin (Atlanta Kings), Mohammad Moin Khan (Texas Gladiators), Sir Vivian Richards (Dallas Lonestars), and Venkatesh Prasad (Chicago).
