Rishad Takes 2 Wickets for Hobart Again Today
Bangladeshi cricketer Rishad impressed while playing for the Hobart Hurricanes in the Big Bash League. On Monday, in the match against the Melbourne Renegades, the left-arm pacer took 2 wickets for 34 runs in 4 overs. Hobart won the match against Melbourne by 4 wickets.
Batting first after losing the toss, the Renegades started strongly. However, in the third over, a catch off Rishad broke their 38-run opening partnership. Rishad came on to bowl in the fifth over, conceding just 8 runs.
After breaking the partnership between Mitchell Waugh and the opposing team towards the end of the powerplay, Rishad dismissed Pakistani batter Mohammad Rizwan in the seventh over. On the very next ball, he also sent back Jake Fraser-McGurk for a duck. This over went for 15 runs.
In the fourteenth over, Rishad completed his quota of overs, giving away only 5 runs and establishing himself as a successful bowler for the team.
Chasing a target of 163 set by Melbourne, Hobart reached the score with 4 wickets in hand. Rishad Hossain did not need to bat.
