Bangladesh Under-19 team lost to Afghanistan by 102 runs in the third ODI. Afghanistan Under-19 team won the match by a huge margin of 102 runs. With this win, Afghanistan leveled the 5-match ODI series 1-1. One match was abandoned.
At the Rajshahi Division Stadium, Afghanistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Khalid Ahmadzai was dismissed for 6 runs by Al Fahad. Then, Samiun Bashir dismissed Usman Sadad for 54 runs. Faisal Khan played a brilliant innings, scoring 100 runs off 105 balls. Afghanistan continued to score quickly and reached a big total. Uzairullah scored 31 runs, and Mahbub Khan scored 68 runs. Although the Bangladeshi Under-19 players took a few quick wickets, Afghanistan managed to score 275 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Al Fahad and Azizul Hakim Tamim took 2 wickets each for Bangladesh.
Chasing a big target, the Bangladesh youth team got off to a poor start. Rifat Beg, Jawad Abrar, and Tamim were dismissed for 45 runs. A 93-run partnership between Kalam Siddique Elin and Rizan Hossain steadied Bangladesh. However, after Rizan's dismissal for 52 runs, Bangladesh's batting lineup collapsed. From 138/4, Bangladesh were all out for 173 runs, losing their remaining 6 wickets for just 35 runs. Kalam Siddique scored the highest 71 runs off 79 balls for Bangladesh.
Shahain took 4 wickets, and Wahidullah Zadran took 3 wickets for Afghanistan.
